Refund Policy
This policy explains how the course fee at The Cavalier is structured, which components are refundable and which are not, and the timelines and process for any approved refund. Please read this policy carefully before depositing any fees.
1. Fee Structure
The total fee paid to The Cavalier is composed of four distinct components. Each component is treated separately for the purpose of refund:

2. Non-Refundable Components
The first three components — Registration Fee, Admission Fee, and Books / E-book / Stationery / Infrastructure — are non-refundable under any circumstances whatsoever. This applies regardless of the reason for the refund request or the stage of the course.
3. Eligibility for Refund
A student becomes eligible to apply for a refund only after the full course fee has been deposited. Partial fee payments do not qualify for any refund consideration.
4. Grounds for Refund
A refund at any stage of the course is permitted only on extreme compassionate grounds. To be considered, the student must:
- Submit a written application in person at the academy office.
- Attach authentic supporting documents in original.
- Allow the academy to scrutinise and verify the documents.
The original documents will be returned to the student after scrutiny and verification are complete.
5. Refund Process and Timeline
A refund is a process and takes time. Once a refund application is accepted:
- The refund will be made one week after submission of the application, subject to verification.
- The refund will be paid only through banking instruments (bank transfer or cheque). No cash refunds will be issued.
6. GST
GST applicable on the fee shall be borne entirely by the student and is not refundable, irrespective of any refund granted on the underlying fee components.
7. Refund Schedule — Written Exam Coaching
For written exam coaching courses (NDA, CDS, AFCAT, CAPF, ACC and similar), refund applies only to the Tuition Fee component (57% of total fee):

8. Refund Schedule — SSB Interview Course
For SSB Interview courses, refund applies only to the Tuition Fee component (57% of total fee):

9. Force Majeure and Government Restrictions
Fees cannot be refunded in case classes are suspended or terminated due to restrictions imposed by the State or Central Government, due to force majeure, or due to any act of God beyond the academy's control.
In such circumstances, the academy will, wherever feasible, offer make-up classes, online continuation, or rescheduling of the course in lieu of refund.
